Plant Your Postcode is an exciting initiative to increase the number of trees on streets and in parks throughout towns and cities across Sussex. Initially we are focussing on the Brighton & Hove area but hope to roll out the project more widely in time.
The CPRE Arun group has responded to the recent consultation on the A29 to highlight concerns about the funding and phasing of the road and the impact on the natural environment.

Since the District Council’s adoption of the Local Plan in July 2018, following a lengthy examination by the Inspectorate, it is fair to say that residents are completely disenfranchised and dismayed by the apparent indifference of developers and the council to the need for new infrastructure to support the building of 20,000 houses by 2031 and the need to protect wildlife and prime agricultural land.
