You are warmly invited to join us for an event we are hosting for our members and all those who love the Sussex countryside on Saturday, 8th November. Find out about the A27 proposals east of Lewes and planning concerns on your doorstep. Get together with like-minded people in your area and discuss local issues over coffee.
On July 17, we visited Downderry Nurseries to see their lavender farms. The day we visited, the nursery had just been filmed by the BBC for Gardner's World.
This year we returned to Plumpton College, the expanding and thriving home of East Sussex land-based education, for our AGM. The morning meeting included presentations with speakers on the theme of Sussex farming and the environment and included presentations by Sussex Wildlife Trust and Ben Taylor of Iford Farms (see below to download Powerpoint presentations).
