Staying Ahead - Planning For Tomorrow

Fifty members and friends of CPRE Sussex gathered in Billingshurst on October 24 2015 to thrash out the focus for the Branch’s work for the next few years, leading up to CPRE’s centenary in 2026.

Wide ranging, lively and good humoured debate resulted in establishing a clear set of priorities for biodiversity, planning, transport, energy; supporting the rural economy and, not least, engaging and growing membership.  The groups’ positive energy and enthusiasm sent a clear signal that Sussex CPRE will continue to be a force to reckon with, playing an active role in protecting the Sussex countyside and ensuring it remains vibrant, healthy and beautiful far into the future.

A huge vote of thanks to everyone who came along or who sent in their suggestions.
