CPRE Sussex Trustee and chair of the Protect Sussex Group, Dr Roger Smith, set out concerns from CPRE Sussex about the overall housing target. Action groups including the Pagham and Aldwick Greenfields Action Movement (PAGAM) described how the consultation process itself was complicated and inaccessible to many local people. Concerns about transport, sewage and drainage infrastructure were shared by many people including Danny Surridge from Littlehampton Floodwatch and Hugh Coster, of Bognor Regis Civic Society. There was agreement that communities need to work together to ensure that their voices are heard through the local plan process.
