CPRE Sussex at Binsted Strawberry Fair

On Sunday 24 July CPRE Sussex joined the festivities at the Binsted strawberry fair. As well as talking to the local community about threats to the countryside, we showed our support for the Arundel Bypass Neighbourhood Committee (ABNC) in opposing damaging options for the Arundel bypass.

Campaigners against Gatwick expansion have united to hold a rally on Friday, July 1 2016 at the ancestral farm of one of Henry VIII’s wives to highlight the devastation Gatwick expansion would wreak on British heritage in the southeast. At today’s rally, the campaign groups unveiled a new document outlining the irreversible impact Gatwick expansion will have on British heritage, local history and the environment.

Reviewing the sustainability of planning proposals across Sussex is one of the core functions of the Campaign to Protect Rural England, a charity that has spent the last 90 years fighting to protect and better our countryside and rural villages.
